1965 Pontiac GTO Klimax

Ron Meis will tell you he’s been reading HOT ROD cover-to-cover longer than he’s been driving, and it has added fuel to his fire for building cars since he first started turning wrenches at 14. When his buddies were getting into 4H, rodeos, and other single-horsepower pursuits, Meis was building custom cars and has stayed deeply involved ever since. He’s not sorry about the direction his life took.
